Surviving in the Post COVID World

We have all heard the horror stories of how severely ill people felt after having received the Covid-19 vaccine and/or booster shot. And some prominent individuals like Elon Musk say “I had major side effects from my second booster shot. Felt like I was dying for several days.” So why and how is it that there are such drastic differences between peoples’ experience when having the spike protein or other parts of the mRNA vaccines in their body?

Every person, within your body, has an immune system threshold. As you introduce toxins in the form of food (sugar, fried foods, etc.), stress, poor sleep, or the spike protein of the Covid-19 vaccine you get closer to that threshold. And once you go over that threshold, your immune system response is staggering. Some people become severely sick and eventually recover, while others report lingering symptoms and even new and worse illnesses. In my own practice, I have seen a significant number of patients who have reported new onset or exacerbation of various maladies including Fibromyalgia, Lyme’s Disease, chronic fatigue, cancer, menstrual problems, and many other chronic illnesses.  You may be asking yourself “what can I do to lessen the havoc the spike proteins from a Covid-19 vaccine are unleashing in my body?”

Increase autophagy

If you read the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) guide to Post- Vaccine Treatment Protocol, they write “The core problem in post-vaccine syndrome is long-lasting “immune dysregulation.” The most important treatment goal is to help the body restore a healthy immune system — in other words, to let the body heal itself. Our recommended treatment strategy involves two major approaches:

  • Promote autophagy to help rid the cells of the spike protein
  • Use interventions that limit the toxicity/pathogenicity of the spike protein “

Autophagy is “the natural, conserved degradation of the cell that removes unnecessary or dysfunctional components”. A relatively simplistic analogy refers to autophagy as your body’s way of recycling toxic waste from your body. And by increasing your body’s own recycling process, you are getting rid of the spike protein responsible for your body’s chaos, while restoring your immune system to a healthier equilibrium.

How do you increase autophagy in the body?

Fasting, time-restricted eating (TRE) and caloric restriction (CR) have all been scientifically proven to increase autophagy. When you fast, your body is looking for energy sources. And it will find energy sources in your body by burning up fat, cancer cells, spike proteins, etc. According to the FLCCC “Fasting can profoundly affect the immune system, partly by helping the body clear out damaged cells and replace them with newer, healthier cells (a process called autophagy). Fasting also improves the health of the body’s mitochondria, which are known as the cell’s “powerhouse”. Research suggests that autophagy may help remove the toxic and misfolded proteins created in the body from COVID-19 infection or injection. So, anything that activates autophagy — like fasting — will be helpful with long COVID-19 and post-vaccine symptoms.”

You can find an introduction to intermittent fasting or take a deeper dive into an in-person experience with intermittent fasting on our website.

Intermittent fasting is a great beginning point on your road to recovery in the post-covid world. The cost is 0, risk is 0, but the potential benefits are ENORMOUS!

The facts presented in this blog or the FLCCC is offered as information — not medical advice. Any and all treatments should be evaluated and discussed by a medical professional, especially in these instances where the illness and repercussions of the coronavirus can be long-lasting and life-altering. I urge you to schedule a consultation to discuss your health and devise a plan to get your immune system and health back to normal.
