Arthritis

Arthritis is a name given to a bunch of symptoms that manifest as joint pains. There are many different types of arthritis. The most common are rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Less common forms are psoriatic arthritis, juvenile arthritis, and gouty arthritis.

One common denominator in all of these forms of arthritis is pain, another is inflammation. Osteoarthritis is often a manifestation of excessive acidity and dehydration within the joints. On the other hand, rheumatoid arthritis can be associated with excessive alkalinity and excess fluid in the joints.

Psoriatic arthritis is associated with skin lesions, it is, in general, more like the rheumatoid variety.

Gouty arthritis (and pseudo gout) are caused by crystalline deposits within the joints. These crystals form when the lymphatic fluids lose their colloidal properties and are unable to hold minerals in solution. Both acid and alkaline imbalances can contribute to this situation, as body fluids have the most colloidal stability in a neutral ph range.

What should you do if you have arthritis?
Firstly, avoid any foods that can cause a prostaglandin imbalance. Next, find out what metabolic imbalances are leading to ph imbalances and crystal deposition in your tissues. This can be ascertained via a metabolically directed functional test.
